Aaron is a digital marketing veteran of over 17 years growing agencies small and large in executive and partner roles. Building websites since 1998 and a search marketer since 2004, Aaron has built and optimized well over 300 websites from small to enterprise levels. He helped found the MnSearch Association, is a faculty partner at Local University, Google Analytics Certified, and speaks nationally on search marketing, web design and mobile.

Annie has been with Acorn IS since 2008. During her time with Acorn, she has grown from helping innkeepers through the pre-development of their new websites to specializing in Local ranking best practices, Social Media and all kinds of other Internet placement tasks. Ashley Castle and Ryan Pittman

Heather TurnerHeather Turner
(Forfeng Designs)

Heather Turner a.k.a. Forfeng is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has spent more than 20 years in the restaurant business. She trained under one of the PBS Series “Great Chefs of America,” Chef Yves Labbe at 4-Star acclaimed restaurant, Le Cheval D’or, and has been the Executive Chef at Bellini’s Restaurant, The Cliff House at Stowe Mt. Resort and Harvest Market in Northern Vermont and at The Olde Inn on Cape Cod. In 2003 she started her own business, which combines hospitality consulting with marketing for a variety of businesses. Lisa KolbLisa Kolb
(President and Co-Founder, Acorn Internet Services, Inc.)

Lisa and her husband Mark opened, owned and operated their own bed and breakfast in Colorado Springs for 9 years, and during that time, Acorn Internet Services, Inc. was born.  Unable to find an affordable quality solution for their own Web marketing needs, they decided to use their Computer Science degrees and hands-on experience to design, market and put their inn on the map.   In March of 2002, Mark and Lisa formed Acorn Internet Services, Inc. to help other innkeepers do the exact same thing.  Their mission is to educate the Innkeeping industry one innkeeper at a time!

Liz HamiltonLiz Hamilton

An 18 year veteran in the industry, and remembering a time without cell phones, the internet or email Liz Hamilton started out in 1997 at BedandBreakfast.com, explaining to innkeepers what this thing called the Internet was. As the company grew she became the Director of Support and spent many hours on the road speaking and representing the company at various trade shows and conferences around the country with Eric Goldryer.

In 2003 she started her own consulting business and worked with a number of companies in our industry including Blizzard Internet Marketing and RezStream.

Since 2011 she has been the Director of Design at White Stone Marketing working closely with an exclusive group of boutique inn and bed and breakfast clients to improve their website designs.

She began her career in the financial sector as a securities broker before leaving her position in 1998 to embark on a new venture in Internet publishing. Focusing on bed and breakfasts, a personal passion of hers, Mary wanted to offer consumers a simple way to access information in an easy-to-use format while raising the profile of B&Bs and inns. She launched BnBFinder.com, one of the world’s most comprehensive, independently-owned bed and breakfast directories. Trent is the President Founder of BlizzardPress. Trent began designing and optimizing lodging websites in 1997. His primary expertise is SEO with a specialized focus toward Social Media Optimization, WordPress, Google Vertical Search, Blogging, and Analytics.

Before the Internet, Trent taught math and history at a Catholic high school and claims the honor of being one of the most losingest coaches in the school’s history – in 3 sports, no less! Thanks goodness the Internet came along!
